Garden of Earthly Delights: Art Party and Exhibition

Edge Out by Niki Kriese

Party: May 3, 6–9 PM | Art Crawl: May 4, 1–9 PM | Exhibition: May 3–May 17

COOP is pleased to present the first annual Garden of Earthly Delights Exhibition and
Art Party.

Our Art Party will be an ethereal and whimsical evening offering a first look at our Garden of Earthly Delights: The Exhibition group show, featuring work by local and national artists including Christina Renfer Vogel, Niki Kriese, Wesley Roden, Sydney Sparkle, Amy Hoskins, and COOP’s members. Live performances by Sarah Saturday’s Gardening, Not Architecture, DJ Raiden, Kirby Jane, poetry readings, and more. Guests will enjoy inspired morsels, earthly libations, and art making. COOP members Taylor Walton and Anna Wise will be painting. Look for the brightly colored lanterns by artist Beth Reitmeyer and large flowers sculptures by Ashleigh York in the new Peace Garden at the Packing Plant Building. Enjoy an art filled evening - leave with something bold, something odd, something rare - there will be much to discover in the Garden of Earthly Delights. Tickets are on sale now at our website or https://bit.ly/COOPGardenParty2024.

Our goal for this event is to raise $10,000: ten $1000 awards for ten Tennessee artists. This funding is vital to providing supplemental income to the artists who live among us but struggle to support their professional development due to limited opportunities and increasing costs. Proceeds from ticket sales, raffle items, art purchases, and donations will fund 10 monthly exhibiting artists to premiere new work in 2025.

More about the Exhibition
Featuring a collection of 30 to 50 local and national artists, as well as work by COOP members, with a secret garden theme. All work will be for sale with a percentage donated to COOP’s 10 in TENN in 2025. The first 25 buyers will receive a special gift as a thank you for supporting the Nashville arts community and our mission at COOP. The reception for the exhibition occurs during Art Crawl on Saturday, May 4 from 1–9PM.
