Juried Show: Now What June 4 – 26, 2016

Opening RECEPTION, Saturday June 4th 2016
75 Arcade, Nashville

COOP Gallery is pleased to present Now What, a group juried show featuring recent work by 8 artists
from across the nation, including paintings, collages, prints, drawings, and sculptures. Tom Williams,
assistant professor of Art History at Watkins College of Art, Design, & Film and fellow COOP member,
curated the show. The works Williams has included address each other, but they also speak to the
diverse conditions of contemporary art.  They were the most remarkable of a number of remarkable
submissions, but he believes that together they offer a narrow cross-section of contemporary practices
and artistic invention.

This is COOP Gallery’s first group juried show in the 5+ years of its existence. Their previous exhibition
history has focused on individual curation and exchange shows with other similar organizations
The 8 chosen artists include: Iris Bechtol, Amanda Brazier, Brooks Dierdorff, Katie Hudnall, Andrew
Kozlowski, Drew Liedtke, Sean Morrissey, Hannah Pino, and Margi Weir
