What We Carry: Stories After Silence

What We Carry: Stories After Silence is an immersive, mixed-media installation exploring the emotional residue and radical strength of survivors of crime, injustice, and personal or collective harm. Clay, fiber, collage, and sustainable materials intertwine to mirror the nonlinear process of healing fracture and mending, silence and voice. Integrated sound and projection components share survivor testimonies, transforming the gallery into a sanctuary of witnessing. Each piece invites reflection on what remains after harm and what transforms when fear is released. The work transcends hardship to illuminate resilience, urging more compassionate listening and a reimagining of justice rooted in truth.
